All our miniature pinscher parents are AKC registered, as are the litters.

All our miniature pinscher puppies will come with limited AKC registration while breeding/show prospects will have full AKC registration. You can give your puppy any name you want, but all breeding/show/obedience/agility prospects will have a registered name that begins with our kennel name.

Our miniature pinschers are ready at 8 weeks of age, puppies we decide to keep for a while to further evaluate for show/breeding may become available later.

The puppies are vaccinated and wormed three times before they go to their new homes. We provide a health record and a recommended shot schedule for future vaccinations, worming, neutering, and spanning. All puppies receive the following vaccinations at the following ages:. Just look at the age of the puppy you are interested in, and you will see what vaccinations they have had.

Our puppies come with a 2-year health guarantee.

Our first concern is the well-being of our puppies throughout their lifetimes. Therefore, if, for any reason and at any time, you choose not to keep your dog, please return the dog to us.

The health of the puppies we produce is of vital concern to us, both for sentimental reasons and because we need to monitor the health of all the dogs we produce over their lifetimes to be sure we’ve not missed anything in our breeding research. We’d appreciate being notified of any and all health issues you encounter in your dog’s lifetime.

Miniature Pinschers are generally healthy dogs but Miniature Pinschers may be prone to certain health issues including patellar luxation, Legg-Calve-Perthes disease, hip dysplasia, thyroid problems, and certain eye conditions such as progressive retinal atrophy (PRA). Regular veterinary check-ups, a balanced diet, proper exercise, and attention to any symptoms are important for maintaining their health.

Miniature Pinschers typically require around 30 minutes to 1 hour of exercise per day. This can include walks, playtime, and mental stimulation activities to keep them physically and mentally healthy.

Miniature Pinschers have short, smooth coats that are relatively low-maintenance. They require regular brushing with a soft-bristled brush to remove loose hair and dirt. Bathing should be done occasionally, as needed, using a mild dog shampoo. Regular nail trimming, teeth brushing, and ear cleaning are also important parts of their grooming routine. Additionally, checking for any signs of skin issues or parasites is recommended during grooming sessions.

Miniature Pinschers are intelligent and eager to please, making them generally trainable. However, they can also be independent and stubborn at times, so consistent and patient training is key. Positive reinforcement methods work well with this breed, such as treats and praise for good behavior.

Regarding housebreaking, crate training can be effective for Miniature Pinschers as it helps establish a routine and teaches them to control their bladder. Supervision, frequent bathroom breaks, and rewarding them for going outside are essential for successful housebreaking. It’s important to be consistent and patient during the housebreaking process.
